The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office will hold a public auction of items including cars, vehicle accessories, and jewelry on Thursday morning in a parking lot at EverBank Field.
The items, which include more than 30 cars and motorcycles, were confiscated or paid for by police pursuant to the Florida Contraband Forfeiture Act.
Among the highlights on the list are a 2008 Suzuki Burgman 650 motorcycle, a 2003 Mercedes Benz SL 500, and a 2004 BMW 745i.
According to auto pricing website Edmunds.com, a used 2004 BMW 745i in good condition can be sold for about $11,000.
The Sheriff's Office reserves the right to set minimum bids on items, and a $100 non-refundable cash deposit is required at the completion of a winning bid. Cash or cashier's checks will be accepted as payment, and all purchases must be settled by 2 p.m.
The cars and other items can be inspected by potential buyers from 9-10 a.m. tomorrow morning at EverBank Field's Parking Lot F on Gator Bowl Boulevard, where the auction will be held.
