LIVE: Celebrating The 50th Anniversary Of The 1963 March On Washington

PBS NewsHour is streaming today's commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom, including a scheduled address by President Barack Obama from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.

Obama is expected to address issues of race and equality, including the recent decision by the U.S. Supreme Court on the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and Florida's controversial "Stand Your Ground" law.

The events also include an interfaith service, "Let Freedom Ring" commemoration, call to action, bell ringing ceremony, and a performance by the University of the District of Columbia Small Jazz Ensemble.
