Police kill robbery suspect Sunday; Man found dead at Northside hotel Monday morning: The Jacksonville Sheriffs Office reports a robbery suspect was shot and killed by an officer on Sunday night. Meanwhile, a man was found dead from multiple gunshots in the hallway of a Northside hotel early this morning (News4Jax)

St. Johns shipping lane dredge could happen by 2015 with JAXPort funding: The Jacksonville Port Authority has agreed to play $5 million for preconstruction planning to dredge Jacksonville's shipping lane, despite inaction from Congress on the project. (Jacksonville Business Journal)

Florida pols could reexamine internet cafes: Following the shuttering of internet cafes across the state after the Allied Veterans of the World gambling scandal lawmakers could take up the issue again next session as cafes begin reopening across the state. (South Florida Sun-Sentinel)

Scott lambasted at state Democratic dinner: Florida Congresswoman and Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz was among the officials who derided Republican Governor Rick Scott as an embarrassment to the state at a party dinner on Saturday. (WKMG)
