Jacksonville’s Farah & Farah law firm wants to make sure everyone out partying New Year’s Eve gets home safe and sound.
That’s why, Eddie Farah says, he’s going to provide free taxi service to anyone who needs a ride.
“We’ve made arrangements with all the cab companies in the area, and we’re going to provide free cab rides, no strings attached. We’ve even taken care of the tip. So call us to get your free cab ride home," he told Melissa Ross on WJCT's "First Coast Connect" this month.
Riders can also register ahead of time at KeepJaxsafe.org.
Farah suggests people call around 45 minutes before they need a taxi. The number is 904-396-5555.
The service will be available from 9 p.m. New Year’s Eve until 3 a.m. New Year’s Day.
Farah says if all goes well with the pilot, he may offer free cab rides for other special events like Super Bowl Sunday, Memorial Day Weekend or the Fourth of July.
