The Enchanted Christmas Village will be hosting its Christmas in July community event at 10 a.m. this Saturday on The Keeler Property, 17255 Normandy Blvd.
Santa, Mrs. and his head elf will be making an appearance for pictures, along with fun Christmas activities for the kids and local food truck options.
Anne Urban of Destination Planning joined Friday’s First Coast Connect to talk more about this jolly Christmas event.
Urban said the Enchanted Christmas Village announced this past week Santa’s vacation home is actually located on the property, which is why they decided to turn the 40 acre Keeler Property into a winter wonderland for all ages.
“We think it’s a great way for people to get some of those summer photos with Santa in his special summer outfits, and really get to have fun and see what is to come,” Urban said.
The event is a sneak peak of what the Enchanted Christmas Village will be unveiling on Nov. 25, and runs through the end of December.
“This Enchanted Christmas Village is like a little mini Disney,” Urban said. “It’s just massive and there is nothing like it in the area.”
