ONLY IN FLORIDA: Theater Plays XXX Scene Before Disney's 'Frozen'

Frozen heating up, doing drugs with cops, and a "super" nerdy wedding are some of the strangest things that happened this week ONLY IN FLORIDA.ONLY IN FLORIDA is our weekly roundup of the strange, bizarre and just plain ridiculous headlines from right here in the Sunshine State.

ONLY IN FLORIDA do movie theaters show sex scenes before a Disney animated film.

A Pinellas Park movie theater full of families and kids received an unexpected surprise Friday as they waited for Disney's newest animated movie Frozen to start.

Instead of the antics of living snowman Olaf (voiced superbly by Josh Gad), what unspooled instead was a sexually explicit scene, reportedly from the controversial upcoming Lars Von Trier film Nymphomaniac, that caused parents to rush their children to the exits.

The theater offered free movie tickets to those in the audience. Regal Cinemas said staff is in the process of ensuring that this doesn't happen again. (Hufffington Post)

ONLY IN FLORIDA do people who get taken into police custody for a minor offense, then get caught doing drugs in the sheriff’s office bathroom.

Tampa deputies say 32-year-old Stacy Slabach was found with a needle in her arm while using the public restroom inside the agency's evidence building.

She was arrested last month for driving without a license. (International Business Times)

ONLY IN FLORIDA do wedding crashers outdo the antics of Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn.

Guests at a wedding in Florida received a surprise when Batman and Iron Man turned up.

Adam Bohn, or Artix, and his fiancée Michelle were exchanging their vows when some superhero imposters took center stage. WWE legend Jimmy Hart, a sword-wielding knight and ninjas were also there to take part in the fun. (New York Daily News)
