The author of bestselling novels Last Man Standing, Saving Faith, Total Control, and Absolute Power will be in town next week to discuss his work.David Baldacci made a big splash with the publication of his first novel, Absolute Power, in 1996. A year later, Clint Eastwood directed and starred in a film version of the book.
Baldacci has published more than two dozen novels, all of which have been bestsellers, and most have been adapted into movies or for television. He has also written several books for children.
David Baldacci will be a headliner at the Amelia Island Book Festival coming up next week in Fernandina Beach. He spoke with Melissa Ross earlier this week about what inspires his writing.
