No Plans? No Problem! Things To Do This Weekend On The First Coast
Musicals, benefit events and a family friendly comic are what's in store this weekend on the First Coast.Friday, March 21 - Sunday, March 23 — Inspired by actual events, the 2010 Tony Award-winning Memphis will have six performances throughout the weekend in the Times-Union Center's Moran Theater in Jacksonville.
The musical takes place in the smoky halls and underground clubs of the segregated 50's, where a young white DJ named Huey Calhoun fell in love with everything he shouldn't: rock 'n' roll and an electrifying black singer. More info and tickets at Jacksonville-Theater.com.
Friday, March 21 and Saturday, March 22 — A benefit event for the Jacksonville Children's Chorus, Sing-a-Long-a Sound of Music is a screening of the classic Julie Andrews film musical in glorious, full-screen Technicolor complete with subtitles so that the whole audience can join in and sing along.
Two screenings, Friday night at St. Johns Country Day School in Orange Park and Saturday at the Episcopal School auditorium, are both scheduled to begin at at 7 p.m. Info at JaxChildrensChorus.org.

There are two shows only Saturday at 2 and 8 p.m. at Theatre Jacksonville. More info at TheatreJax.com.
Sunday, March 23 — Stand-up comedian Brian Regan, known for his "clean" act, will be at the Florida Theatre.
