The Florida Department of Children and Families continues to investigate a viral video shot at a local skate park that has sparked outrage around the world.
The DCF and Jacksonville law enforcement are investigating the video, which shows a man kicking his young son off a high ramp at Kona Skate Park.
The video was posted to Instagram over the weekend and has since received the attention of both national and international media.
Meanwhile, Monday Governor Rick Scott announced his new pick to lead the department as the child welfare agency works to rebound from a spate of controversial child deaths.
Mike Carroll, longtime Tampa Bay area regional director, has been tapped as interim chief.
Florida Department of Children and Families Northeast Regional Director David J. Abramowitz joined guest host Charlene Shirk to discuss the skate park video investigation and what's next for the DCF.
