And on “Only in Florida,” Mount Dora homeowners are facing a fine for their artsy abode. Check out their Starry Night house.

STEM and Health Expo

A free kids’ event featuring dozens of hands-on activities in science, tech, engineering and math is happening at the River City Science Academy this weekend. It’s the school’s sixth annual STEM and Health Expo, from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the campus on Beach Boulevard.

Throughout the day, River City Science Academy teachers and students will demonstrate large-scale experiments that pop, grow, explode and entertain. Guests of all ages are welcome.
