Ron DeSantis emerged from a machine recount Thursday all but certain to become Florida’s next governor while the U.S. Senate and Agriculture Commissioner races moved onto hand recounts.
DeSantis, a Republican, maintained a nearly 34,000 vote lead over his rival, Democrat Andrew Gillum.
