More than 3,500 teachers and education staff professionals were expected to participate in rallies, sign waving, informational pickets and other activities throughout the state on Monday, including in Northeast Florida, for a "Day of Action." Their message: Fund public schools. National Day of Empathy
What prison reform advocates are calling a National Day of Empathy is meant to draw attention to how millions of people are touched by the criminal justice system. On Tuesday, in observance of the day, Operation New Hope will host an Empathy Rally at UNF. Author, educator, and activist Khalil Osiris, the event’s featured speaker, joined us with a preview of the event.
The PLAYERS Championship
