City Funds May Help Historic Norman Studios

It’s the only remaining piece of this city’s past as a moviemaking mecca.

Jacksonville’s historic Norman Studios began more than 100 years ago producing silent films for black audiences.

Now, a new budget proposal would set aside city funding to help it open to the public as a museum.

Rita Reagan of Norman Studios, and board member David Williams talk about the plans.
