A push is underway in Duval County that organizers claim would improve the election process and voter turnout for Jacksonville's municipal elections.
It’s called ranked-choice voting, which allows voters to rank candidates in the voting booth as opposed to voting for just one person in a specific race.
Perry Waag and Drew Aitken, members of Ranked-Choice Voting Jacksonville’s Steering Committee, joined us for a closer look at the system of voting.
American Medical Association
Dr. Patrice Harris, the first African American woman to lead the American Medical Association, says it’s time for the medical profession to address big health disparities in the United States. She joined us along with Bryan Campbell, who is the CEO of the Duval County Medical Society.
Mark Brunell
Former Jaguars quarterback Mark Brunell joined us to preview the NFL Legends Gala, which takes place this Saturday. The gala will celebrate 25 years of the NFL in Jacksonville and benefit the Tom Couglin Jay Fund.
Cole Pepper
Cole Pepper joined us to recap the Jaguars’ loss to the Panthers, as well as some college games.
