A new PBS series Retro Report is spotlighting Jacksonville’s struggle to combat HIV and AIDS.
The show offers a fresh perspective on today’s headlines by revealing their unknown — and often surprising — connections to the past. Guest host WJCT’s Jessica Palombo spoke about the continued spread of AIDS here in Florida with Meral Agish, a reporter for Retro Report, and with Cindy Watson, CEO of JASMYN here in Jacksonville. JASMYN is featured in this week’s show on HIV and AIDS, which airs Oct. 29 at 9 p.m. on WJCT's channel 7.1.
