Twenty-nineteen was Jacksonville’s deadliest year in decades. The city saw 158 homicides last year, which is the highest count since The Florida Times- Union began keeping track in 2006. Andrew Pantazi, with the Times-Union, joined us for a closer look at the homicide statistics.
Divorce
January is the biggest month of the year for divorce filings as people decide to start their New Year with a fresh start. Americans over 65 are seeing an even higher divorce rate, a phenomenon called “gray divorce” that can leave women in a scary financial situation.
