Friday Media Roundtable; Rethreaded Masks

On Friday’s episode of First Coast Connect with Melissa Ross, our Media Roundtable discussed some of the stories impacting Northeast Florida this week.

The topics that our panel of journalists and contributors discussed included: 

• Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry is reopening parks and beaches on a limited basis.

• COVID-19 testing by private labs is not being counted by the state health department’s daily report.

• Duval County voters will be able to decide whether to create a half-cent sales tax that will be used to improve the city’s aging schools.

• A look at the JEA.
