Domestic Violence
As the coronavirus crisis drags on, and people are continuing to stay at home, those in abusive situations literally have nowhere to turn right now. Sometimes they can’t even find the privacy to call a domestic violence hotline. Hubbard House in Jacksonville now has another option. People can now text them if they need help. We spoke with Hubbard House CEO Gail Patin. The Hubbard House can be reached by texting to (904) 210-3698 or through a hotline at (904) 354-3114.

Law firms, businesses or individuals who would like to help by buying meals for healthcare workers may contact Laura Hack at (904) 910-2401 or visit the Feed Our Healthcare Heroes Facebook page.
