Jacksonville Sheriff Mike Williams stated on Monday that he doesn’t think it would be possible to equip the Republican National Convention with proper security. So, what does this mean for the event?

Retired FBI agent and National Security Council Staffer Jim Casey shared his thoughts with us.

Retailers' Mask Mandates

Many major retailers are now implementing mask mandates. Jacksonville Business Journal Editor  Tim Gibbons joined us for a closer look at how consumers feel about these recent mandates, and how they could impact sales.

ER Doctors & COVID

Local ER Physician Dr. Andrew Schmidt discussed some of his concerns about the pandemic with us.

Color Jax Blue

A new public art project titled Color Jax Blue was created in Durkeeville to bring voting awareness to more black citizens in Duval County. The 6 Ft. Away Gallery artist and advocate Shawana Brooks joined us along with fellow muralist Erin Kendrick, to give us more info.

Although blue is the color of the Democratic Party, the Color Jax Blue name and logo wasn't picked to favor one party over the other, according to Brooks. Instead, she picked blue because it reminds her of the democratic process, and many of the artists involved were interested in using it in their pieces.

Civics Education Fellowship

A Jacksonville civics teacher named John Louis Meeks Jr. joined us to discuss a new fellowship that is promoting civics education and honoring local civil rights icon Rodney Hurst.
