Given the rising coronavirus numbers, it’s no surprise that many teens are anxious about going back to brick-and-mortar schools right now.
A new survey from Junior Achievement by research firm ENGINE Insights shows that two-thirds of teens are concerned about attending school in-person this fall. Nearly three-in-four teens said that their parents or caregivers are concerned about them attending school in-person this fall as well.
The survey results were released as Duval County Public Schools saw its back-to-school hybrid plan approved by the state, about two weeks ahead of the first day of school. Nearly one-third of students enrolled in Duval plan to attend virtually.
