As the number of COVID-19 cases and deaths continues to rise, the concern for childrens’ safety at schools is growing, as well.
More than 12,000 Florida children have been infected with COVID-19 since schools first began opening their doors. Meanwhile, parents and teachers' unions such as the Florida Education Association are demanding more transparency from schools in reporting cases.
Dr. Mobeen Rathore, a local pediatrician, co-chair of the Baptist Health System Infection Prevention and Control Committee, and past president of the Duval County Medical Society, joined the show.
