Drug Take Back Day

Memorial Hospital is collecting your opioids, no questions asked, as part of Drug Take Back Day. The program hopes to mitigate some of the effects of the opioid crisis by giving people a safe place to dispose of their medication. 

Dr. Alison Mauk, Emergency Medicine Pharmacist at Memorial Hospital, told us more. 

International Eats

Edible Northeast Florida has devoted its latest issue to Jacksonville’s burgeoning global cuisine scene. While travel is off the table for most, the magazine hopes to inspire Jacksonville residents to explore the culinary world from the safety of home.

Edible’s editor Lauren Titus, joined us on the program to discuss Northeast Florida’s diverse cultural makeup and the some of the best cuisine in the area.
