It’s the final week of the presidential race and it’s still a tight race in Florida.

Meanwhile, there are plenty of local news stories to keep an eye on, including the investigation into the failed JEA sale, upcoming forums on race and policing in the city, and the controversy over Shad Khan’s proposed project for Lot J.  Jacksonville City Council President Tommy Hazouri joined us to discuss all of this and more.

Teen influencers in the  I’m A Star Foundation will host a live, virtual debate about reopening schools amidst a pandemic this week. Betty Burney, the organization's founder and executive director and a past chair of the Duval County School Board, joined us with more information.

Jags at the Polls

The Jacksonville Jaguars have undertaken several initiatives to try and encourage fans to vote in the upcoming election. And starting Monday, Oct. 26, you can drop off your ballot at an early vote dropbox just outside TIAA Bank Field.  Julian Duncan, chief marketing officer for the Jaguars, told us how.
