Halloween is Saturday and many parents are struggling to decide the safest way to celebrate. Experts agree that allowing children to go door to door, foraging in a bucket of goodies, is too dangerous amidst a pandemic.
Last week, the Centers for Disease Control updated its guidelines for celebrating safely. The CDC's recommendations for lowest risk activities emphasize virtual events and ones with members of your household.
Dr. Jeff Goldhagen, Chief of the Division of Community and Societal Pediatrics at UF Health Jacksonville, joined us to discuss the risks of trick-or-treating and some fun alternatives.
