Lung cancer patients on the First Coast have a new hope: the science of robotics. A new robot-assisted lung cancer screening technology is in use at the Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center’s interventional pulmonology program.

Mackenzie Scott
Just before the holidays, philanthropist and author Mackenzie Scott, one of the world’s richest women, announced she would donate millions to nonprofits across the country, including here on the First Coast. One charity included in Scott’s holiday giving is United Way of Northeast Florida, which received $20 million.
