Risks Of A Sedentary Lifestyle
Dr. James Churilla, professor at UNF and director of the university's Exercise Science and Chronic Disease Graduate Program, discussed the risks of a sedentary lifestyle - and how too much sitting can be just as deadly as smoking. He also offered tips from his research, on leading a healthier lifestyle.
'Be The Change'
TIAA Bank has announced a new “Be the Change” scholarship program high school seniors. Each of the three winners chosen will receive $5,000. To apply, participants must submit an essay on the themes of Understanding, Dialogue, Leadership, and Action. Jessica Scott of TIAA Bank joined us with more information.
