Starting late Thursday night, the section of Main Street between State and Union Streets will no longer be one-way.
Instead, the Florida Department of Transportation is making it two-way.
That means drivers on Union Street will be able to get to State Street by simply taking a left on Main.
Engineers say the switch will improve traffic flow downtown.
The work is part of a $13 million road improvement project that began 2-years ago and is expected to wrap up this fall.
