The AAA auto club and Budweiser are offering free towing over the holidays for First Coast drivers who party just a little too hard.
The way the service works is impaired drivers who call 855-2-TOW-2-GO (855-286-9246) can get a free tow home or someplace safe within 10-miles.
Tow-2-Go has been offered for nearly 20 years but AAA’s Matt Nasworthy said the number of calls have been dropping in recent years. That's partly because of car services like Uber and Lyft.

“And also the attitude has changed. Twenty year ago people may have been a little more cavalier about it, and now there’s a lot of attention every holiday that comes out. I think more and more people are making the right choice, which is a good thing,” Nasworthy said.
The free Tow-2-Go service is available to AAA members and non-members alike.
It’s offered through January 2nd.
