Starting Monday, motorists will be able to use the exit ramp from northbound Interstate 95 onto Atlantic Boulevard.

The ramp had been closed as part of the Florida Department of Transportation’s Overland Bridge Project. The  $164 million initiative that included the construction of 14new bridges and the widening of three others along a 2.2 mile stretch of I-95 between the Fuller Warren Bridge and Emerson Street.

FDOT said the opening of the Atlantic Boulevard ramp is a sign that the project, which began in the summer of 2012, is now largely complete.
