With only four games left in the regular season the Jacksonville Jaguars head to Nashville this week with, perhaps, a bit more spring in their step.
That’s because the team was finally able to put a game in the win column over the weekend.
WJCT Sports Analyst Cole Pepper said Monday even though Sunday’s 6-0 victory over the Colts wasn’t pretty, it definitely took the pressure off.
“It was over two months, 64 days, since their previous win. And even though a six-nothing win is not exactly a barn burner, it was something they needed. It’s only the third time in the last 25 years in the National Football League that a game ended with a score of six-nothing. So a pretty rare situation — but the Jaguars will take it after seven straight losses.”
The Jaguars face the Tennessee Titans Thursday night in Nashville.
