The St. Augustine Amphitheatre unveiled a new brand identity Wednesday in advance of its 2019 concert season.
The award-winning outdoor music venue has adopted “The Amp” as its formal moniker.
On First Coast Connect with Melissa Ross, Ryan Murphy, General Manager of The Amp and the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall, explained why.
“The more I consult with people that are municipalities and people that are developing amphitheatres across the country, they turn to us and say, ‘You know, we keep on hearing you guys are the gold standard when it comes to the treatment of artists and customers.’ And, that’s an amazing thing to hear that that’s our reputation, and so while we have that time and place to claim that we’re The Amp is kind of where we are going.”
