The Art Center At The Landing Has Moved To Regency Square Mall

The nonprofit art center that had a gallery at the Jacksonville Landing now has new digs.

Art Center Cooperative President Ed Malesky said on First Coast Connect with Melissa Ross Friday, that after receiving notice to vacate the Landing in May, he’s made a new home at Regency Square Mall near J.C. Penney.

“We're excited. It's a bigger place than we've had. So we're looking for artists to come out and look and say, gee, maybe we'd like to join the cooperative to we have space for more artists to join, we'd like to get up to 30 to 35 members rather than just 20 we're at now,” said Malesky.

He said Regency management told him they plan to bring in more arts and entertainment into the mall.

The cooperative’s grand opening is Sunday, July 28, from 2 to 5 p.m.
