Hotline Started For Older Duval Citizens Worried About COVID-19

The hotline will be available every weekday, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Duval County is opening a hotline for seniors who are dealing with stress and anxiety due to COVID-19. 

The phone line is funded by the city of Jacksonville in partnership with Memorial Hospital and ElderSource, which assists seniors and disabled adults with resources on aging issues.

People above the age of 55 are invited to call and ask questions of mental health professionals about coping with the stress of the coronavirus pandemic. 

The line will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday to Friday. The number to call for the hotline is (904) 702-2552.
