Bogey Grille, which has been a fixture in Ponte Vedra Beach for more than 16 years, will be going out of business later this week.
The owners said Tuesday in a Facebook announcement that Bogey Grille will be shutting down on Friday.
“As you all know, current events with the coronavirus has put an enormous strain on our country and economy. After much consideration, the decision has been made to close the Bogey Grille effective Friday July 3rd at 8:00 pm,” owner Derek Prince and staff wrote on Bogey Grille's Facebook page.

Florida restaurants are currently limited to operating at 50% capacity due to the pandemic.
Prince’s sports bar and restaurant originally opened in August 2003, while the original building was built around 1997, according to Prince, who was interviewed by the Ponte Vedra Recorder in 2019.
Prince told the Recorder that he picked Bogey Grille as the name for his restaurant due to its location next to the The PLAYERS Championship.
Bogey is a golf term that refers to being 1 over par on a single hole.
“We have been very blessed over the years to be part of a wonderful community and the many unforgettable memories that were created here. Again, we sincerely thank everyone for all the great times here at The Bogey Grille and we wish you the best,” Prince wrote.
