The J.T. Butler Boulevard ramp from San Pablo Road to westbound Butler Boulevard will be closed from 8 p.m. Sunday, August 16, until 6 a.m. Monday, August 17, as part of a $12 million construction project.
To access westbound Butler Boulevard, drivers will be detoured to eastbound Butler Boulevard, where they will continue to the South Beach Parkway exit and turn left onto South Beach Parkway to access the ramp onto westbound Butler Boulevard.
The Florida Department of Transportation said the detour is part of a project that includes the construction of a diverging diamond interchange at San Pablo Road and Butler Boulevard.
It’s scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2022 and is being built by Watson Civil Construction.
