The deadline to register to vote in the upcoming general election is Monday, October 5.
St. Johns County Supervisor of Elections Vicky Oakes is extending the hours when residents can come and register in person.
The Supervisor of Elections Office on Avenue A in St. Augustine will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3, and from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 5.

People planning to mail in their voter registration form must make sure it’s postmarked by October 5 for it to be processed.
