St. Johns County has another 500 doses of the coronavirus vaccine it plans to administer this Friday.
The shots will be given by appointment only, with the online scheduling sign-up portal opening at 9 Thursday morning on the St. Johns County website.
Residents can also make an appointment by calling the County’s vaccination hotline at 904-295-3711 after 9 Thursday morning.
All 10 digits of the phone number must be used in order to get through, even if you call from within the 904 area code.
To sign up for vaccination updates, text SJCVACCINE to the number 888777.
The county has also requested more vaccine allotments.

At least 23,585 23 people have now died of COVID-19 in Florida since the start of the pandemic last spring.
The state added nearly 15,000 confirmed infections Tuesday, pushing the total number of cases past 1.5 million.
St. Johns County reporting 15,700 cases after 200 new infections were confirmed Tuesday.
