Jacksonville will host its first ever LEGO convention this fall as BrickUniverse brings thousands of the tiny plastic building blocks, themed building rooms and a LEGO store to the Jacksonville Fairgrounds.
The attractions will include a specially themed Star Wars building room and a Duplo zone for younger visitors.
Professional LEGO artists Jonathan Lopes and Rocco Buttliere will be in attendance to display their creations, including London’s Westminster Palace and an 8-foot tall model of New York City’s Woolworth Building.
The event will be held October 2 and 3 at the Fairgrounds. Tickets cost $15 and are on sale now.
