The University of North Florida is offering free COVID-19 vaccinations on campus through this Friday, July 30.
The president of UNF sent a letter to students, faculty, and staff this week urging them to “embrace the philosophy of shared responsibility” for everyone’s safety and get a shot.
UNF’s student newspaper, The Spinnaker, reported 14 students and 12 employees tested positive for COVID-19 last week alone — up from 3 students and 5 employees in June.
The school is providing the one-shot, Johnson & Johnson vaccine at its student health center.
A registration form for the vaccine is available here.
