A new restaurant planned by Jacksonville husband-and-wife restaurateurs could be the pearl in the crown of a San Marco shopping center.
Gemma Fish + Oyster is an upscale casual oyster bar and restaurant with rooftop seating now under construction at East San Marco — the Publix-anchored retail center at Atlantic Boulevard and Hendricks Avenue near San Marco Square.
The two-story restaurant and oyster bar is the new venture from Chef Mike Cooney and his wife, Brittany, the founders and owners of Ember & Iron in northern St. Johns County.
