UNF moves forward on president's search

News4Jax

The University of North Florida board of trustees is expected Wednesday to discuss moving forward with interviews and campus visits for four finalists to become the school’s president.

The finalists, according to the UNF website, are:

  • David Blackwell, a professor of finance and former provost at the University of Kentucky.
  • David Brennen, a professor of law and former dean of the law school at the University of Kentucky.
  • Moez Limayem, dean of the college of business at the University of South Florida.
  • Marc Miller, dean of the law school at the University of Arizona.

UNF began searching for a new leader after David Szymanski stepped down as president last year. The board of trustees will meet Wednesday in Jacksonville.
