Jacksonville voters will choose from the most diverse field of candidates in city history when they cast ballots in 2023 for the person who will move into the mayor's office at City Hall.
JAX Chamber President Daniel Davis' entry into the mayor's race filled in the final piece of the puzzle for the crowded field of expected candidates.
Four candidates are Republicans, three are Democrats, and two are not affiliated with either party. Five are women, and four are men. The candidates include three Black contenders and a Cuban-American.
