Jacksonville mayoral candidates LeAnna Cumber, Donna Deegan and Audrey Gibson talked crime, faith and culture wars during a forum Tuesday night at the Interfaith Center of Northeast Florida.

The gathering of about 60 people was part of a dwindling list of chances for candidates to connect personally with voters who’ll start early voting in less than four weeks and conclude the first round of city elections March 21.

TV ads, mailers and internet messages will do most of the campaign work but the self-styled town hall was a time to talk directly to residents.
