Clay County wants to beautify Wells Road in Orange Park.

Clay County wants your thoughts on improving Wells Road in Orange Park.

A town meeting focused on beautification, safety and other enhancements is planned from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at the Courtyard Jacksonville Orange Park, 610 Wells Road.

More information is available here. You can register here.

The collaborative focuses on ways to increase business opportunities and refresh the overall look of the Wells Road corridor from U.S. 17 to Blanding Boulevard. The goal, county officials say, is to create a Gateway to Clay that residents can be proud of.

The effort follows an agreement approved by the County Commission with Smart North Florida to work on transportation and pedestrian safety on the road.
