Riverside High graduate Akira Roberson has dreams of becoming a commercial pilot. She plans to enroll in the School of Aviation at Jacksonville University to achieve that dream.

Akira Roberson is ready to fly the coop.

The 17-year-old with dreams of becoming a pilot plans to enroll in Jacksonville University’s School of Aviation after graduating from Riverside High School.

Aviation is Akira’s answer to being able to see the world while getting paid for it. Her dream was instilled as a young girl who was exposed to Naval jets and fighter pilots.
