School of Rock plans to open in October on San Jose Boulevard in Mandarin.
The global music school franchises and offers classes, workshops, camps and performance programs for children, teen and adult musicians.
School of Rock has more than 325 locations in 15 countries. Jacksonville will be the 16th in Florida.
