The Florida Department of Health in Duval County is asking those who’ve recently tested positive for the coronavirus to wait 10 days before getting retested.
The Health Department has seen long lines of people waiting to get tested at its Central Health Plaza at 515 W. 6th St.
According to the state, last week, roughly 1-in-4 of the people tested in Duval County, tested positive for COVID-19.
Staff at the Duval County Health Department said they have noticed many of those who recently tested positive are returning to the lines to be tested again much sooner than they should.
