Angela Cordoba Perez
Angela Cordoba Perez is a WUSF/USF Zimmerman School digital news intern for the spring 2020 semester. Currently, she is a sophomore at USF majoring in mass communications and completing a minor in psychology.
Growing up in Colombia, Angela developed an interest in writing stories and news, which is why she moved to Tampa to pursue a career in journalism.
Even if she misses the mountain views, especially in one of the flattest states of the country, she is excited to bring her diverse voice to the Tampa Bay community.
She hopes she can learn as much as she can from her colleagues in the newsroom and bring a unique perspective to WUSF’s stories.
