WJCT News 2021 summer internMackenzie Guiry is a senior multimedia journalism major at the University of North Florida. She spent her first two years of college at Florida Atlantic University.
At Florida Atlantic University, she wrote for the school paper, The University Press, where she covered campus events and did long-form feature stories. She also completed a copywriting and public relations study abroad program in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England.
After graduation, she hopes to move to New York to pursue a career in radio and podcasting with a focus on covering film, pop culture and current events.
