Sophia Saliby
Sophia Saliby is the producer for GPB's All Things Considered broadcast in Atlanta. Previously, she was a reporter for WFIU/WTIU in Bloomington, Indiana. In addition to her reporting, she aided in the production of "Noon Edition," a weekly call-in news program, as well as two documentaries during her time at the station.
Sophia has won numerous awards from the Indiana Associated Press Broadcasters Association and the Indiana Society of Professional Journalists for her reporting.
She graduated from Indiana University in 2018 with degrees in international studies and Arabic. As a student, Sophia co-founded and helped lead American Student Radio, a student audio storytelling podcast.
Sophia traveled to Germany in the summer of 2018 on a fellowship with RIAS Berlin Kommission to study journalism, German politics and the Cold War.
